When you are in despair and things get worst because of advices that are based on personal motives, then it’s about time to look for the answer from the Word of God.

As of this writing, the trouble in the Middle East is widely spreading. Now it’s the turn of Saudi Arabia government to face a wide demonstration that can go wild like its neighboring Muslim countries. The problem is that even if we are several hundred miles away from the trouble, our love ones – parents, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters – are there to work for a better life.
If trouble goes beyond the tolerable limit, anarchy will take place and it will be chaotic for all those who are there. And the feeling of anxiety for the relatives in the Philippines will set in. It was predicted by a good number of psychics, including me that this scenario will happen. My prediction is that these Muslim countries will merge as one, ruled by a council, and have one decision before a great war of belief.
DAY 4 : RESPOND TO THE CHALLENGE
ISAIAH 58: 6-12
If you extend yourself to the hungry and afflicted, your own wound will be healed, your call will be answered by the Lord and then your light shall dawn in the darkness.
Many will save themselves first before thinking of others. But in reality, it should not be that way. In times like this, cooperation and oneness is the key to survival. Imagine the mentality of the crabs and the ants. If placed in one deep basin, the crabs will never make it to the top but the ants will and not a single ant will be left down the bottom of the basin because of the system they use to survive as compared with the crabs’ system of self first before others. With this kind of system, not a single crab will make it to the top for they will keep pulling each other down.
In the law of nature, those who work and move as one unit that takes care of each other, has a better chance of surviving the challenges of the world. Whether your atheist or believer of God, both will agree that if you do something good for others first, then the universal energy will swing to your side positively.
These I’ve learned from my own personal experience that changed my way of thinking and changed my life for the better. Once when things were all down and everything seems to collapse and ready to end financially, I made a heart to heart talk with God inside the church, regarding my situation. Of course I prayed that my financial situation be uplifted. On my way home, I was approached by a family who asked for help and assistance so they can go home in their province. It could be one of those scams in the street or maybe a real thing. After quickly thinking through it, I decided to help them go home so I told them to pack their things. I personally bought their tickets and accompanied them to the terminal. I gave them my last money so they could start a new life in the province. My statement was “start a new life; that’s all I have, I hope it can change your life for the better”.
Going home I was having second thoughts, what if they just made a fool out of me? Well, I just shrugged my shoulder and said to myself, “at least God knows my true intention”. Before going to sleep that night, I prayed to God, “I will sleep dead broke for I shared what I have, all of it. Tomorrow when I open my eyes, for sure things will be worst for me, so please God, I am surrendering myself to You tonight”.
The next morning, I opened my eyes knowing nothing much has changed in my life. When my phone rang, I was nervous for it could be the bank, maybe the creditor, maybe the collector, or anybody that could make my day from bad to worst. But lo and behold, one of those forgotten projects that didn’t push through will finally start immediately.
I have a new lease of life after that day and since then, I have a better life than before. When I look back, I gave up all I have so that others may have a new life, but in the process I was challenged by fate – if I will respond if others asked the same. Two new lives were answered in the span of two days. I was given a chance to be a symbol of hope, a light in the darkness and in the process, I am sure my own darkness was turned into midday light.
A piece of advice, don’t pray to God for you to win the lotto so you can build a church and help the needy. God is not dumb, you are given a challenge everyday to respond to the same trials that you have, but very few will respond to the challenge.
DAY 5 : PUTTING WORDS INTO ACTION
JAMES 1 22-25
Be doers of the Word and not hearers only, for a doer who acts shall be blessed in what he does.
Have you observed that every parent always talks how they hate liars and corrupt people? But did anybody noticed that parents themselves teach their children how to lie and how to practice corruption as easy as one plus one in their daily lives.
Scenario one: A child answers a phone call, or maybe a doorbell, or a knock on the door looking for their parent and how many times that the child was taught to say that they are not home even they if they are present. The parents forget that what they are doing is called LYING in your face. You hate them to tell a lie to you but they are so perfectly practiced by the parents themselves to tell a lie without blinking an eye.
Scene two: A child is given a candy to behave, an ice cream to clean their room, a day at the mall just to have a good grade, or a car if they will graduate. This is corruption101 via hands-on training by the parents themselves. Is it not possible to tell a child behaving is a good attitude that will bring him praises and admiration from others? Is it not enough to emphasize to the children that cleanliness is next to Godliness instead of bribing them? Isn’t it proper to surprise them with a present of anything of value even a car after they graduated instead of pressuring them to graduate to have a car?
Lying, deception, and corruption were practiced and perfected at home. Religion bribes people with false promises of a place in heaven if they do obey the church. A person must be good not to have a place in heaven but because being good is a man’s real purpose on earth.
If we really want change, then lessen the talking and do things that you want. The earth will have a better future and the new civilization will be better. Those religious people must learn to do what they preach and what they hear but sad to say, they are the first one who does exactly the opposite of what they believe. When Christ asked for supreme sacrifice of oneself for the welfare of others, they will all shy away because all they can do is help within their comfort zone; they won’t bother to lift a finger for a fellow man.
