PLAYING WITH NUMBERS

Numbers. We can’t live with them, we can’t live without them. We count how much we do and don’t do, have and don’t have, the useful and the useless…the good, the bad and the ugly…the number of times we seek attention and recognition and the number of times we failed…the number of times using the urinals, toilets, how many times we had sex, number of ex’s, number of friends and enemies.
Practically, we play with numbers in everything we can think of. We try and the ones that we fail to remember can drive us cuckoo.
Of all the things in the world, the most gratifying way playing with numbers is counting what? Money! There are four kinds of money. The good; the good and ugly, the bad and the bad and ugly.
The good ones are those you work hard for yourself or your families where a part thereof was given for taxes. The good and ugly ones are those you found somewhere, pick it up and spend it and you think its luck. One can include winnings on lotteries, gambling, stock and commodities investments.
The bad ones are the ones that are illegally and discreetly taken through fraud – stolen and the misappropriated. The bad and the ugly money are the ones that were given or donated to the powerful with a hidden personal agenda of getting a return in some other ways, shapes or forms.
One may ask, “What about the Robin Hood money, Ray?” It’s none of the above. First of all, Robin Hood is long gone. He took or raised funds by all means from the rich and powerful and distributed them to the poor and powerless.
World culture has changed. Its Hood Robin status quo, wherein all the Mr. Robins raise funds from the 99% of the population and donate them to the 1% rich and powerful. Why? Greed….by doing so, that raised funds one way or another will grow exponentially like a tree that grows its leaves. Like getting a job promotion or getting appointed to a respectable high paying job for doing nothing.
Money, whatever kind, can make a couple do a sweet loving in bed after a good shower. Because money usually makes the hearts grow ponder… couple hold hands entering a church and sit side by side and take communion.
How can one deny her/his espouse claim of zero income from any venture she/he worked hard is beyond any wildest dreams. If so, the confession priest needs them in the pedestal. So are the neighborhood or the community.
Allow me to share with you an e-mail circulating on the Web. It typifies a logic on playing with numbers in it highest form. Take a peek and enjoy.

Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been to those meetings where someone wants you to give over 100%.
How about achieving 103%? What makes up 100% in life?
Here’s a little mathematical formula that might help you answer these questions:

AND, look how far ass kissing will take you.

So, one can conclude with mathematical certainty, that while Hard work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will get you there. It’s the Bullshit and Ass Kissing that will put you over the top. Now you know why some people are where they are!

Playing with numbers can be rewarding in politics. A larger number of desperate followers show off to an elected politicians with the desire to get recommended for a position.
Numbers mean a whole lot to politicians…they play with them. 800,000 is a big number, their playful minds figure. It’s that number that matters. A truism one can assume that an appointee is one that can influence more voters in their favor. What the appointee can contribute to the masses is totally disregarded.

It’s all about playing with numbers stupid.
