So far, the Philippines’ culture is very rich when it comes to mythology and folklore where our superstitions in today’s generation comes from. We believe so much on luck and and misfortune. We adopted the Chinese tradition nowadays which hardly had an effect on us pure Pinoy. The reason is Chinese belief is attached and blended with their culture, tradition, and religion. Their God is called differently from our God in Catholic. Their practice of religion is different from us. For example Feng Shui is attached with the God of Buddishism where one must perform a ritual for Buddish Gods and diety. The power within the practice is inept for pure Christian Filipinos for the prayers and rituals are so different from the Christian rituals and ceremony. It is not a question of who has a better God but the inherent belief, traditions, and practice play the difference.
Kulam is similar to that of voodoo of Central America and other countries in Europe which is characterized by the use of dolls and other materials as symbols of their victims. They also formulate potions to cast magic spells and the antidote to this potion. Remember these two things about Kulam: the mangkukulam or the witch himself or herself has the exclusive antidote for the potion or a very powerful mananambal or healer that also knows the practice can reverse the spell. Medical doctors will aggravate the situation of a victim. A pretend healer for a kulam has no effect at all. Only the perpetuator can reverse the situation or a healer who is also a member or adopted by the clan.
The power of the mangkukulam is transferred through the bloodline. The sons and daughters all have the capability if they choose to and may not use at all the power for the rest of their life. But some are forced to use it when somebody wronged them through the course of their daily normal life. Once used, the power and knowledge must be used from time to time for the rest of their life even beyond his desires.
The knowledge is transferred to those who are so pure in heart and soul. They need to study and pass the required trial to learn it. This can be done by entering into a ritual exclusive for the practitioner alone. Many healers try to learn and pass the trials but seldom succeed. Only the pure in heart and intentions made it. The reason is the pure one will be the one who can defeat them at all times during an encounter. Only a pure heart healer aside from the mangkukulam can reverse a kulam episode of a victim.
One asked, is a healer priest pure enough to heal a victim of a kulam? My answer is negative. First, they do not have the knowledge of the real and exact antidote and catalyst for a reversal of a specific spell and its nature, second they are religious but not that pure. For one to be pure, he is ready to give his own life on every single patient he encountered. We have seen many priest healers that are so afraid from contagious diseases and ailment in contrary to Jesus who embraced patients with leprosy.
Kulam is supposed to inflict pain and suffering through incurable ailment to a chosen victim who has wronged someone in certain way. The person who was violated goes to a mangkukulam and asks for his or her services for a fee. The only thing mangkukulam needs is any DNA producing piece from the victim like hair, saliva, perspiration, urine, pubic hair, in some cases just recent pictures of the victim will do, which is so much abound nowadays in the internet social networking system.
But always remember that kulam will only be effective if one has wronged one. Worst case is if the one you wronged is a son or daughter of a mangkukulam or the most difficult case is if you wronged the mangkukulam himself. Actually, if that is the case then death is certain for the other party sooner than expected. Only a total forgiveness of the wronged mangkukulam can reverse a situation.
On the part of the mangkukulam what will be the effect on him everytime he do his craft. Well each of the mangkukulam is very much given a warning about the consequences of the practice most especially if done because of money. They know the full accountability of their action. Yet the act itself may be considered a crime against man but it is so hard to prove in court for evidence is supernatural in nature. But practitioners know there will be no escape from the universal justice of God.
Does serving God or a God fearing person as they called themselves free from this power? The answer is no. If one wronged somebody he or she must pay the full extent of his wrong deeds. Karma is not repaid by money for money, but the event that transpired after losing such money will be due for such debt. Getting something from a poor person has bigger karma than those who has so much.
And if it is true that one is a God loving person why should he wrong someone? If he really love Christ why should one do wrong to the least of his Christ’s brother. Actually no prayer can save a victim of kulam. He or she is just paying his or her debt that he committed.
God Himself has reminded everyone to love one another. But man does otherwise for his personal reason and not of God’s wisdom. Then men make his own fate… to be under the influence of mundane power and weakness.
SIGNS OF HAVING A KULAM ATTACK:
1. Ailment that has never been diagnosed and seen in medical instrument and procedure.
2. The fear of a certain person who you denied that you have wronged appears in your thought from time to time consciously and sub-consciously.
3. Freak accidents occur all of a sudden.
4. Misfortunes happen to love ones that one affect emotionally and financially.
5. Lost of appetite.
6. Lack of sleep
7. Lost of mental focus.
These are signs that may lead to a full blown kulam attack. Find those who you think you have wronged and ask for forgiveness while one has time and the full ritual Wicca is not yet committed. Look for professional help from a good healer who knows true witchcraft.
My belief is this, there are no strong mangkukulams for a man who is righteous and there is no weak mangkukulam to a man who is wicked. Be kind always to everybody. Respect the indifferences of everyone, we are made to be such unique individual from each other respect that.
