At this writing, the gap still exists on Kris Aquino-Ai delas Alas and the pair of ex-good chums Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador. Heard that John Lapus exerts effort to rekindle the friendship of Kris and Ai-Ai but seemingly to no avail. Reportedly, Ai-Ai refused to comment on a possible reconciliation with Kris. While the latter allegedly commented that she awaits for the proper time, right place to bury the hatchet with Ai-Ai.
On the other side, Maja’s vocal of her move to patch up things with Kim. However, Kim seems vapid to regain her lost camaraderie with Maja. Nevertheless, both have exclaimed that there’s no problem if a project will pit them together anew in TV series or in a film, expressing willingness to do it, if ever.
Going back to Kris, for the second time she rejected to star in an Indie pic. Her hectic TV assignments, time to bond with her family could be ascribed for it, not for anything else, as Kris expounded.

Herbert’s Partner Unfazed by Herbert-Kris Issue
For weeks, talks circulate fast that Kris Aquino’s latest lover is none other than QC mayor Herbert Bautista. This seems highlighted by James Yap’s insinuation that Kris dates a politician but didn’t mention a name. On the contrary, in a chat with colleague Linda Rapadas who’s chummy with Bistek and her long time partner Thates Gana, she dismissed it as mere gossip.
“ Thates told me she asked Bistek about it, simply laughed over the allegation. Kaya di affected si Thates. Busy sila sa pag-aasikaso sa forthcoming debut of their daughter Athena. Imagine, 20 years na ang couple in one roof. And Bistek admits she’s her lucky charm in politics. So I doubt if he’ll ever break up with her.” Says Linda.
In passing, Linda recounted that Athena tries movie acting via an Indie film titled Sitio Cam Cam, with Jean Garcia, Sunshine Dizon, Joyce Ching and Ziki Sarmenta (daughter of Romnick Sarmenta and Bistek’s sis Harlene). Yes, Linda agreed that Kris might run for QC mayor in 2016 while Bistek is being prodded by Kris’s brod Pnoy to try a Congressional seat.
