REMEMBER G Toengi? If you do then don’t be surprised if you heard about her giving Kapuso starlet Joyce Ching a dressing down.

No one’s talking about it, but G actually told Joyce during a pictorial for the GMA7 early primetime soap Paraiso Ko’y Ikaw not to call her ‘Tita G.’ The Balikbayan actress gave Joyce a lesson addressing people and how to be respectful, one of which is not calling her ‘Tita G.’

Both parties denied the ‘dressing down’ but Joyce admitted that G requested her not to call her “tita.’ She prefers to be addressed to as ‘Ms G’ or even just ‘G’

Actually, G is not old enough to take on mother roles for teenage stars, but she accepted the role as she finds a strong female character who is real, not a weeping mother, yet not a scheming villain either to be a real challenge.

Having accepted the role does not mean being called ‘tita’ is part of the package. G just taught Joyce that it’s all right to call her just G or if needed, put a ‘Miss’ before her name and she’s okay with that.
