Award winning Fiesta Filipina Dance Troupe of Canada is recruiting new members

Because of the number of activities lined up for the year, Fiesta is again recruiting new dancers for training. We have a new choreography and list of newly researched dances from the Philippines and need execution for our repertoire for 2012.
Dancers are needed for all levels from Junior (6 years old), Intermediate to the most seniors.
Rehearsals are held at the Fiesta Filipina performing arts center at 7125 Pacific Circle, Unit 6 in Mississauga every Sunday afternoon.
These are the regular dates for all major events for Fiesta for 2012
March 31 – Gala Night – 46th Year Celebration, at Pearson Convention Centre
April 28 – Miss Manila – Korean Cultural Centre 1133 Leslie St. Toronto
July 13, 14 & 15 – Carabram, 30th Year of Carabram Festival in Brampton in partnership with the Federation of Filipino Canadians in Brampton.
August 11 – Fiesta ng Kalayaan with Kalayaan Cultural Group of Mississauga at Celebration Square in Mississauga City Hall
Sept. 15 – Annual show at the Living Arts Centre, “Legends and Rituals”
Fiesta Filipina is one of the regular performers of big Filipino community festivals in Toronto. There is also a lineup of invitations for out of town performances and our overseas travel to International folklore festivals.
The well traveled Fiesta Filipina Dance Troupe has become an Ambassador for both Canada and the Philippines through international travels; they have enchanted audiences with their exceptional traditional Philippine folk dance repertoire.
Fiesta now 46 years old, is the longest running Filipino group in Toronto and run by 14 board of directors, a recipient of the Banaag Award from the President of the Philippines for their remarkable achievements in showcasing the diversity of Filipino heritage through world class dance and musical performances.
