Some chums based in Singapore relayed to me that judging from the feedbacks there Coco, Michael and Korina might bag the trophies. If ever, this will be Michael’s second time to win the best comedy actor award for Bubble Gang.

Wille Patches Up with John, Randy
Talking of Willie Revillame, good friend Cristy Fermin related that finally he patched up his differences with John Estrada. The incident transpired at the wake of John’s dad Enrique Estrada. Remember, two years ago Willie severed his ties with John when the latter joined the show Happy, Yippee, Yehey which replaced Wowowie. Willie stayed up to the wee hours to renew his friendship with the grieving John.
As an aftermath, heard that Wille buried the hatchet too with Randy Santiago through John ‘s move.
Trivia:
With the death anniversary of the late Movie King Fernando Poe Jr. on the air, plus the forthcoming Christmas, can’t help but recount the unknown facts about Ronnie on his dealing with intimate friends. Did you know that religiously during Yuletide season, Ronnie sent big amount of cash, with ham, cases of beer and favorite foods of his pals to them?
That was an inherent trait of Ronnie, he valued people around him. One time, a famous non showbiz journalist related to me that he met Ronnie in a big social gathering. How surprised he was to see Ronnie sitting on the table with media men not in the mainstream. Curiously, he asked Ronnie why.
“They’re my long time buddies. I personally invited them so komportable ako sa kanila. At di ko sila ipagpapalit sa mga sikat.” Ronnie’s exact reply which astounded him.
To illustrate further, As his publicist for nearly 20 years, this writer witnessed he never exuded discrimination. Once, during his presscon for a new film, the act of a staff caught his ire. He saw her shoving off uninvited movie press, the gakas, the showbiz term for gate crashers.
Ronnie let them in, after he reprimanded his staff. “Ke imbitado o hindi papasukin mo. Ayoko sa lahat yung may minamaliit na tao. For me, all’s equal whatsoever.” Ronnie disclosed.
An unpublicized character too of Ronnie revealed his unusual treatment to his employees. He didn’t belong to the top brasses who would easily fire out their workers for erring, no matter how big it was. Ronnie made it a point to dress them down, inculcating to their minds to mend shortcomings.
I was no exception when I trusted a colleague on personal matters about Ronnie, with her promise not to write it. But unfortunately, she did leaving Ronnie enraged. Knowing I was the source, Ronnie had given me a cold shoulder treatment. Nonetheless, he didn’t give me a termination letter. So I personally cadged for forgiveness for my askew act.
As his confidante told me, “pasalamat ka wala sa bokabularyo ni manager ang magsisante ng tauhan. You know, muntik ka na.”
Prior to his demise, Ronnie elucidated another admirable gesture. Despite his questionable loss in the Presidential election, he still nurtured a gallant move to his supporters, to keep them aware how grateful he was. Each one received a token of gratitude from Ronnie, an expensive computer.
Katherine Opens Up on Coco
Finally, ex-actress Katherine Luna who won best actress trophy for Babae sa Breakwater admits that her 7-year old daughter has yet to be introduced to her dad Coco Martin. Up to this time, Coco hasn’t seen her child. If ever, Katherine buttressed.
“Di ko ipagdadamot sa kanya ang bata. Huwag lang niya sasaktan ang feelings nito. The child simply loves to meet her real dad. “ Katherine confided to a colleague.
Of late, Katherine lives in with her non showbiz lover who sired her kids too. Coco’s daughter has smooth relationships with her stepdad and half-siblings.
Just asking. Does Coco ever miss his daughter or his huge success overwhelms him not to nary a thought on her?
Jennylyn, Luis Secretly Married?
After the issue dragging her name in the breakup of Paolo Contis and Lian Paz, Jennylyn Mercado turns hot item anew. Allegedly, she has secretly tied the marital knots with Luis Manzano, an aftermath of her brief falling out with him. The imbroglio has both been disregarded by the duo.
Meanwhile, Gov. Vilma Santos doesn’t seem to impede with the mentioned inopportune talk as she frankly remarked.
“Whether true or not, I leave it to Luis. He knows what’s best for him. I do respect whatever move he does.”
Toni Still Respects Paolo
During her Eat Bulaga days, Toni Gonzaga was vocal she had crush on co-host Paolo Ballesteros. “Kasi pogi at mabait ito.” She chuckled. Now, Toni feels amused when informed that Paolo snapped that his crush is Toni’s bf Paul Soriano. Toni took the comment as a joke. “Whatever, I still like, respect Paolo. Kung saan siya happy ok lang.”
Paolo used to be the colegialas’ choice then. But these days even in his manner of dressing up, he looks unmanly, so they say. What gives, Paolo?
Spicy Tidbits:
Surprisingly, Andi Eigenmann has confounded many when she retracted her previous statement on her mom Jaclyn Jose’s dislikes for the Estradas, including her bf Jake Ejercito. That those were untrue. Now, Andi stressed her mom’s really telling the truth.
Could it be out of the no blandishment thrown to her by Jake recently? That he broke off with Andi for she’s allegedly a two-timer as if she’s egregious person? Expect a fool-hardy exchange of no auspicious words between the two camps.
A source has it that he’s almost sure Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez would be reunited in a movie under Star cinema. Contrary to remark it’s impossible for they belong to rival TV Stations.
Remember, it happened to Richard and KC Concepcion who made a film then.Wanna bet? Angel-Chard team will push thru.
Heard that what Angel nixed down was the offer to enact anew Darna. That a younger, popular actress befits more the role.
