Even during his early years in showbiz, Aga Muhlach didn’t deny that many tried to convince him to enter politics. Though he had oftentimes campaigned for politician-friends, he never succumbed to that tempting offer.
“It’s exciting, more demanding and challenging than an actor’s life. But I’ve to admit I’m not made for that stuff. Perhaps someday when I’m completely prepared, mentally and emotionally kasi mas grabe ang intriga at tukso sa politics.” Aga would voice out then.
These days, however, not a few close chums of Aga have relayed this info that he has new outlook when queried on his crack at politics.
“Why not? If ever I’d opt to run in congress. Not in Metro Manila level though pero sa probinsya ko sa Camarines Sur where my family hails. I feel more comfortable and have a stronger chance to win.” Says Aga lately.
If you’re not aware, Aga’s a Bicolano through and through, speaking the dialect fluently and spends lots of time in Bicol. So there, Aga looks ready for politics this time.
