Finally, Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee speaks out his heart and mind. For quite a time, gossip mongers and detractors alike have vilified Enchong, scattering words about his gender problem. A pliable Enchong doesn’t show any hard feelings on those talks.
“Not at all affected for in showbiz, marami silang pinagdududahang pagkalalaki ng mga actor including me. What counts, I know myself fully well and my family, relatives and close chums just laugh it off.” Enchong broke his silence to my colleague recently.
Unlike in the past, Enchong opened up about the girl whom he truly loves. Admittedly, she’s not from showbiz world. Enchong respects the girl’s decision not to name her, being a very private person who refuses to be involved in publicity.
Interestingly, Enchong’s leading lady in his new movie for Star Cinema titled “Once a Princess” Erich Gonzales has also a non showbiz lover. For the first time, she’s twosome with someone.
Aga, Robin Exchange Networks
Right after his contract with TV-5 expired, Aga Muhlach seems unstrung to work anew under the Kapamilya network. Aga gives hint that he would possibly ink a new contract with the said station. Meanwhile, Ogie Alcasid has replaced Aga as host in Let’s Ask Pilipinas, the game show of TV-5.
In contrast, from Kapamilya actor, Robin Padilla has been bruited to transfer to TV-5. On the outset, Robin neither confirmed nor denied it. Yet his appearances in TV-5 shows give credence to its probability.
Going back to Aga, good thing that the appalling rumor that he parted ways with wife Charlene Gonzales subsided. Just recently, cheerful Charlene announced over the air her vacation trip abroad with Aga and their kids very soon.
Trivia: Much has been written, said about ex-movie queen Amalia Fuentes. Yet his writer couldn’t help but share to the readers about her candidness that sets her apart from past and current celebrities. Before I left for Canada, I wrote, published a book titled The Untold Stories with Amalia as one of the celebrities in its content.
Direct to the point, Amalia told me.” I was not impressed for you didn’t reveal all the hidden facts and very subdued in your expose. Parang dating sa akin ay fairy tale. Masyado kang maingat in details. You know If I’ll write on my biography, everything that transpired would be written about my life. I don’t care if others involved in my life would be offended or take it against me. Basta sasabihin ko lang ang buong katotohanan.”
Not so long ago, in a phone chat with Amalia, she was vocal to me why she did back out from her supposedly TV drama series for Ch. 2. “You know me well, Nap. If I don’t agree in something with the writer or director, I’ve to be frank. Kung ayaw nilang baguhin, I would opt to quit rather than continue working with them unhappily.”
Addingly, Amalia expressed a food for thought. “Oh yes di na ako sikat ngayon. But to recall back, I had contributed also to the success then of Ch. 2. During my heyday, my TV show Amalia was one of the top raters that time. Whatever, it couldn’t be erased from the TV history. Dapat grateful din tayo sa mga tumulong sa atin.”
On her on and off feud with her siblings Alex and Cheng Muhlach, Amalia uttered brashly. “That’s one thing I dislike on your book. You did truncate on the real happenings as if you were protective to my brothers. As it is naman, in every family conflict, misunderstanding surface every now and then. Ganyan kami. Pero ang differences at the end of the day , the proper solution would come out. After all, blood is thicker than water, no matter how big the damage emerged.”
In the current ballyhooed incident at the recent Urian Awards night where as presenter Amalia was escorted by Piolo Pascual, some found what she did not appropriate for those formal rites, noting that somehow she embarrassed Piolo.
“Ay naku, nagpakatotoo lang ako. Talagang idol ko si papa P dahil ang galling umarte. Yes, I kissed him backstage at ang bango niya which I said on the air. What’s wrong if others remarked I’ve a crush on him” Amalia chuckled, showing how truthful she is.
Later, Piolo divulged to the press people. “Let’s face it. Amalia Fuentes is Amalia Fuentes. I was overwhelmed by what she did. For a fact, even my mom kinilig sa sinabi at ginawa ni Amalia.”
A Sad Plight for Willie
Unlike in the past where Willie Revillame was authoritative, could demand what he would yearn for at the time he hosted Wowowie at Ch. 2, seemingly these days Willie undergoes a sad plight. A reliable source fed me this news that TV-5 management offered Willie to host Talentadong Pinoy.
Allegedly, Willie did a shilly-shally rejection of it, demanding to bring back his previous program wow-Willie. However, the bigwigs slammed his arrogance, didn’t yield in to what Willie wanted, so I was told. This leaves Willie still jobless, at this writing.
Tsk..tsk. As a supporter who has sympathy for Willie disclosed, “it’s high time for Willie to re-assess himself, sheds off his air of haughtiness for his own good. After all, he’s a talented host who deserves another crack at fame which he used to enjoy.
Sharon Not Against KC’s Decision
With the news that KC Concepcion signed a 2-year-contact with the Kapamilya station, proving she remains loyal, some threw words that her mom Sharon Cuneta allegedly tried to dissuade her, to demur her inking it. This quite irked KC for its baseless. Once and for all, she mentioned that her mom never interferes in her decision on career and love matters.
“In truth, my mom’s so happy I stay with Ch. 2 and thankful to the management for the trust, care given to me. Kahit nasa TV-5 na ang mommy ko she remains in good terms with the bigwigs of the Kapamilya network.” Says KC who won the FAMAS best actress award for Boy Golden recently.
Spicy Items: Derek Ramsay denied using Kris Aquino so that he could return to the Kapamilya network. He explained he has no intention of leaving TV-5. As he puts it, “I’m happy now in the Kapatid station for all the breaks given to me. What I feel is up to this date ABS-CBN still harbors a grudge on me. Yan ang gusto kong i-solve dahil maayos akong nagpalam noon sa bigwigs nila Derek told pen pushers.
Both Alden Richards and Max Collins giggled when asked there’s more than friendly relationship between them. The two clinch nothing of that sorts exists. Yet they know the talks won’t stop. Months of filming an international movie in Doha, Quatar will add fuel to it.
Alden and Max recently passed the audition for that film to be directed by Janix Pacle, a Filipino megger based in Quatar. Another breakthrough in their respective career.
Katrina Halili’s camp dispelled the rumor that she’s enraged that Hayden Kho’s medical license has been given back to him by the Philippine Medical Association. The latter expounded he has completely reformed, spends time in charismatic movements to show how he changes for the better after his much publicized brouhaha sex video with Katrina years back.
“If Hayden truly admits his mistakes, a better person of late, how come he has not personally apologized to Katrina? That’s what she expects from him.” A chum of Katrina buttressed.
Just like last year, on July 25 which marks the birthday of the late Comedy King Dolphy. The Quizon clan paid tribute to him through a birthday concert, led by Zsa Zsa Padilla and Dolphy’s son Eric Quizon. Dolphy’s family welcomed Zsa Zsa”s non-showbiz boyfriend.
Eric theorized, “two years nang namayapa ang dad. Tita Zsa Zsa deserves a new crack at happiness with the right guy. That wouldn’t mean she no longer loves my dad. We know in every inch nandun pa rin ang sobrang pagmamahal niya kay dad.” Eric quipped.
