The Outstanding Canadian Academy (OCA) proudly announces the continuation of its 25th Anniversary celebrations with a second ceremony of this year’s Outstanding Canadian Awards to be held in the first quarter of 2026. Following the successful Silver Jubilee event earlier this month, this additional gathering will spotlight a new group of distinguished Canadians whose contributions exemplify excellence, diversity, integrity, and service to our community.
Since its founding in 2000, the Academy has recognized nearly 300 exceptional individuals and organizations whose work has enriched Canada’s cultural, civic, and social landscape. This upcoming ceremony will extend this legacy by honouring a second batch of awardees, each representing the Academy’s enduring mission to uplift communities and strengthen Canada’s multicultural mosaic.
Reynaldo Alix, Chairman of OCA, reflects on the importance of these awards through this statement: “We are thankful that the awards we are bestowing are recognized by the government and that awardees are motivated by the honours they receive.
